Returns
Returns & exchanges
If something isn't right, tell us. Most of it we can sort out quickly — but a few categories can't be sent back at all, so it's worth reading before you order.
Most duty gear
Return or exchange most items within 7 days of delivery. Items need to be unworn and in new condition, in their original packaging, with all tags, instructions and accessories included.
Contact us before sending anything back. We'll confirm the return, tell you where to send it, and confirm any fee that applies. Anything sent back without that confirmation can't be credited.
Start a returnBody armor
Body armor can't be returned. It's made to order, fitted to the individual officer, and it's life-safety equipment — once it ships it can't go back into stock.
So get the fit right first. Book a fitting before you order — that's exactly what it's for. If something's wrong with what arrived, contact us directly and we'll work through it with you.
Alterations are free for 30 days. If the fit needs adjusting, tell us within 30 days of delivery and the alteration is on us. After 30 days we can still alter it, but there'll be a charge. This is an alteration, not a return — armor still can't be sent back at any point.
Before you order
What can't be returned
These aren't our preference — they're what the manufacturers and our supply chain will take back. We'd rather tell you now than at the point you want to send something back.
- Body armor and ballistic protection
- Handcuffs and restraints
- Base layers and headwear — anything worn against the skin
- First aid supplies and PPE
- Forensic supplies
- Special orders and custom items
- Items marked with a retail price, and anything past its expiry date
If you're unsure whether something falls into one of these, ask us before you order. We'd rather answer the question than have you stuck with the wrong kit.

Cancelling an order
If you need to cancel, tell us within one business day of placing the order and we'll stop it if it hasn't shipped. After that, or once it's on its way, it becomes a return rather than a cancellation.
Special orders and custom items can't be cancelled once placed — they're put into production for you.
Questions
Before you send something back
How do I start a return?
Get in touch first, through the contact form. Tell us what you're returning and why, and we'll confirm it and give you the right address. It helps if you have your order number to hand. Items sent back without that confirmation can't be credited, so please don't skip this step.
Is there a restocking fee?
It depends on the item. We'll confirm any fee when we authorise the return, before you send anything back — so you'll never find out after the fact. If the return is our error or the item arrived damaged, there's no fee.
What counts as "new condition"?
Unworn, undamaged, and complete — original packaging, tags, instructions and any accessories that came with it. Duty gear that's been worn on shift can't be returned, for the same reason you wouldn't want to be issued someone else's.
Do I pay return shipping?
Yes — return shipping isn't refundable, and we'd ask you to use a tracked service so there's proof it arrived. If the return is our error or the item arrived damaged, tell us and we'll make it right.
Something arrived damaged or wrong
Contact us as soon as you notice. That's not a normal return — there's no fee and we handle it directly. The sooner you tell us, the easier it is to put right.
